Portable crochet kit

Photo1

This is my crochet travel kit:

  • Clover crochet hooks
  • Pair of scissors
  • Tape measure
  • Stitch markers
  • Thread & safety eyes
  • Needles in kauri needle holder
  • Reference book: Keim, C & Werker, K 2007, Visual quick tips: Crochet,Wiley, Hoboken, NJ.(in case I forget how to do a stitch or to learn new ones)
  • Pen

Some times I carry stuffing if I am working on amigurumi. Yarn I keep separately. I commute by train or bus to work. It is the perfect time to craft. I have been known to stick a crochet hook and a ball of yarn in my pocket or my boyfriends.

Today I finished my first international order - a pair of hats for twins due in August. I am really happy with them.
